Zero Tolerance for Bullying
Mambaram HSS maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of bullying, including physical, verbal, emotional, social, and cyber bullying. We believe every student deserves to feel safe, valued, and respected.
Any incident of bullying is taken seriously and addressed immediately with appropriate disciplinary action, counseling, and support for all parties involved.
What Constitutes Bullying?
Physical Bullying
Hitting, kicking, pushing, or any form of physical aggression or intimidation
Verbal Bullying
Name-calling, teasing, insults, threats, or any form of verbal abuse
Social Bullying
Exclusion, spreading rumors, damaging reputation, or manipulating relationships
Cyber Bullying
Online harassment, threatening messages, sharing embarrassing content, or digital intimidation

Regular workshops and sessions for students, teachers, and parents on recognizing and preventing bullying
Active Supervision
Trained staff monitoring all areas of the school to identify and intervene in potential bullying situations
Peer Support System
Student mentors and buddy programs to create a supportive community and help vulnerable students
How to Report Bullying
Multiple Reporting Channels
We provide safe and confidential ways for students, parents, and staff to report bullying incidents:
Direct Reporting
Speak directly to any teacher, counselor, or school administrator
Anonymous Helpline
24/7 confidential helpline for reporting incidents anonymously
Written Reports
Submit written reports through suggestion boxes or email to school counselors
Parent Meetings
Schedule confidential meetings with school administration to discuss concerns
Remember: All reports are taken seriously and handled with confidentiality. No student will face retaliation for reporting bullying.

Immediate Investigation
All reported incidents are investigated promptly and thoroughly by trained staff members
Support for Victims
Immediate support and counseling provided to affected students to ensure their wellbeing
Disciplinary Action
Appropriate consequences for perpetrators based on severity, including counseling, suspension, or expulsion
Parent Communication
Parents of all involved students are informed and involved in the resolution process
Follow-up & Monitoring
Continued monitoring and support to ensure the bullying has stopped and all students feel safe
